At Jenkin Hill Cottage there are just two comfortable guest bedrooms, both on the first floor. There is one double bedroom with full bathroom en-suite, with shower over the bath. The other room, which can be set up with a super-king size double or twin beds, has en-suite shower room.
Each room has remote control digital TV, DVD player, clock radio, hair dryer and hot drink facilities. For the comfort of our winter time guests the rooms have central heating, heated towel rails and double glazed windows.
All bedrooms have views over the garden and Thornthwaite Forest.
From the dining room and bedroom windows you may be lucky and see some of our regular visitors to the garden, such as a red squirrel or woodpecker!
There
is a good range of Lake District books available for guests to peruse,
including walking route guides and local photographs. There is also a selection
of general interest books and novels for those who like to sit and read,
and some DVDs for those who like to sit and watch.
Tourist information packs are provided in the bedrooms, but we are always pleased to advise on walking routes, pleasant drives, places to go and things to do.
Wi-Fi broadband is available free of charge throughout the house for those who require internet access.
